Transcripts

Request a Transcript

Transcripts are usually ready four to six weeks after your SFS program ends. How you receive your transcript depends on when you attended and which institution issued your credit.

Current Students and Recent Alumni

Depending on your home institution's requirements, your transcript will be issued either directly by SFS or by our School of Record, the University of Minnesota (UMN).

  • Credit from SFS: Your transcript will be automatically sent to your home institution. You do not need to request it.
  • Credit through UMN: SFS enrolled you at UMN at the start of your program. You must order your transcript directly from UMN, not through SFS. After your program, UMN will email you instructions for claiming your account and ordering your transcript through its Parchment system. This email will also include your UMN student ID and the email address at your home institution where your transcript should be sent.

    Order from UMN by following UMN's Parchment ordering instructions. You'll need the UMN student ID emailed to you after your program. If you can't find it, or you attended SFS before 2023, fill out the form below.

  • Did you receive credit from Boston University? (1994 to Spring 2014)

    Order directly from Boston University, using BU's transcript ordering instructions.

  • Did you receive credit from Northeastern University? (1980 to 1993)

    Order directly from Northeastern University using Northeastern's transcript ordering instructions. For additional assistance, call Northeastern's Office of the University Registrar at (617) 373-2300.
